For the Research and Advancement of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine

The Asia Forum for Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine (AFAS) held its inaugural conference in April 2013 in Seoul, South Korea, under the auspices of the Korea Academy of Aesthetic Surgery and Medicine (KAAS). Since then, AFAS has been hosting annual academic conferences every April or May in Seoul.
From its inception, AFAS has aimed to be an open forum where medical professionals and academic societies from around the world can contribute to the research and advancement of aesthetic surgery and medicine. As a result, AFAS has actively engaged in academic exchanges with 16 related societies, including the Japan Society of Aesthetic Surgery (JSAS), as well as societies in the United States, Germany, China, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, and Mongolia.
AFAS takes pride in having grown into a prominent international academic festival representing Asia, attracting medical professionals from all over the world. We will continue striving to make AFAS a prestigious international academic conference where diverse and profound topics in aesthetic surgery and medicine are presented and discussed by medical professionals globally.
