  Our face shape is vital in creating a positive impression and it is as important as well-defined facial features such as the eyes and nose. Even with harmonious facial features, prominent cheekbones or a square jaw can detract from overall beauty. The shape of the face is influenced by the skeletal structure and the accumulation of subcutaneous fat or cellulite (degenerated fat). In the facial area, cellulite often concentrates in challenging spots such as cheekbones, double chin, and square jaw areas, where fat reduction is more difficult. Effectively treating these areas requires a deep understanding of the characteristics of fat cells.

  Inspired by the improvement of ptosis through the method of thread insertion in the buried double eyelid (levator muscle technique), I began performing buried levator shortening for patients with ptosis around 2000. This technique was first published in 2004 in the medical book "The Practice of Rejuvenation Aesthetic Medicine" by Junichiro Kubota.
  Initially, the method involved simply suturing the Muller’s muscle vertically from the conjunctival side to the tarsal plate. However, this method was prone to failure, and if the suture embedding was inadequate, it could cause corneal damage or irritation of the Muller’s muscle, often making removal difficult.
  To address these issues, the current method involves threading from near the lid margin to the tarsal plate and performing mattress sutures. This allows for secure fixation of the Muller’s muscle and levator aponeurosis to the tarsal plate, enabling the procedure to be applied even in cases of relatively severe ptosis.

  Acquired dermal melanocytosis (ADM) is a skin condition that can be effectively treated with Q-switched lasers. However, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, a common side effect of irradiation, can be problematic. The use of Q-switched ruby laser irradiation with a fractional handpiece can mitigate post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, resulting in a shorter downtime compared to conventional treatments.
  However, it is important to note that the number of treatments required for color improvement may increase with this approach.

  Facial lifting using threads is widely performed for various reasons. Compared to surgery, downtime is shorter, side effects are fewer, and better results are obtained compared to lifting devices. In the past, lifting using non-absorbable threads was mainly performed, but recently, facial lifting using absorbent threads has been increasingly performed.
  In my presentation, I will be giving a video lecture on facial contouring using filler and PDO thread. In particular, I will explain a method that minimizes side effects and is easy for beginners to approach.

  Background: Interest in aesthetic treatments among men is increasing, with 45% expressing a desire for penile enlargement. Glans enlargement treatment has also been shown to improve psychological self-esteem and help address premature ejaculation.
  
  Objectives:
  1. To propose a glans enlargement technique that ensures both safety and effectiveness.
  2. To evaluate the impact of treatment on premature ejaculation and psychological satisfaction.
  3. To enhance safety by utilizing anatomical knowledge and selecting appropriate fillers.
  
  Methods: Fifty male patients (average age: 35 years) underwent glans enlargement using cross-linked hyaluronic acid. The procedure was evaluated for enlargement rate, improvement in premature ejaculation, and psychological satisfaction.
